Sharing insights and learnings during joint visit to Mali

In the last week of January a delegation of representatives of the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Dutch Embassy in Mali, the three child marriage alliances (Her Choice, More Than Brides and Yes I Do) and local partner organisations paid a working visit to project sites in Mali.

Besides visiting sites of Her Choice and More Than Brides in the surrounding of Segou and Bamako, we talked with representatives of national and local governments, UNICEF, UNFPA and Girls Not Brides and shared insights and learnings with partners, colleagues and (young) change agents.

Hundreds of schoolchildren from the community of Kalabancoro welcome the delegation, while chanting ‘Son Choix, Son Choix’.
