Day 4: a great closing of the Her Choice Regional Meeting in Nepal
Our Her Choice Regional Meeting in Nepal has come to an end with a presentation from CWIN Nepal illustrating with their ‘Tree of Change’ how they transform social norms and traditional practices to prevent child marriage.
All partners had the opportunity to work with the visualation tools developed by the University of Amsterdam to assess girl friendliness in schools and youth friendliness in health services.
The Her Choice Regional Meeting in Nepal was a great learning and sharing experience for everyone – the Dutch partners as well as the partners from Bangladesh, Ethiopia, Nepal and Pakistan. The creative presentations and workshops engaged all our senses, as well as our hearts and minds. Everyone has returned home inspired and energized to continue to work together with girls, boys, their families, teachers, religious leaders and governments to prevent child marriage so that young people can fulfill their potential.
